Location is excellent, right by the beach with free sun loungers. Check-in took nearly 3 hours, which was frustrating. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options, but elevators were often crowded or out of service.

The location is fantastic with direct beach access and a lovely pool area. The elevators were slow and one was broken, which caused long waits at check-in. The breakfast buffet offered a lot of delicious options. Be aware of high valet parking fees.

Great location, nice pool, but rooms need updates and better Wi-Fi.

Great beach service with free sunbeds and clean towels. The breakfast buffet was top-notch and kept us fueled for a day in the sun.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was worth it.

The hotel is nestled between the palm trees and offers quick access to stunning attractions like the Museum of Ice Cream, which is just a short 200-meter stroll away, and the beautiful Collins Park, only about a 1.7 km walk, giving you numerous options for leisurely weekend strolls; the ambiance was clean, peaceful, and filled with an international vibe that made me feel right at home. The rooms were spacious, and the hotel staff were friendly and ready to help with anything we needed, but the mattress could definitely use an upgrade for better comfort during sleep.

The beachfront access is pure magic! I loved lounging by the pool with a cocktail in hand. The breakfast spread had me smiling every morning, especially thanks to Tony for the perfect taxi arrangements!
Can recommend! ❤️😍

The lobby and pool area steal the show with their beautiful design and great atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is a delight with a wide variety of delicious options and friendly staff eager to help.
The elevator situation is a bit of a drag.

It took forever to check in, and when I finally got to my room, the power cut out mid-shower! I was left drenched and covered in soap. Not cool at all.

I appreciated the friendly staff and the clean hotel ambiance during my visit to Riu Plaza Miami Beach. The ocean views from the room were stunning, and the large balconies added a nice touch. be prepared for potential check-in delays and some room maintenance issues.

The lobby ambiance was inviting, reminiscent of a tropical getaway. The location was unbeatable, just steps away from the beach. The buffet breakfast was a standout, offering a wide selection of delicious options to start the day right.
The rooms could use some updating, with furnishings showing signs of wear and tear. The lack of amenities like streaming services and limited TV channels left room for improvement.

Beautiful private beach with nice umbrellas, and the swimming pool is a great spot to relax. Breakfast was a highlight—so many delicious options! check-in was slow due to a trainee, and I had a frustrating experience losing a wallet; staff weren’t very helpful. The corner room I paid extra for had obstructed views with no counter space in the bathroom. Late checkout felt rushed; I was locked out and met with indifference. The noise from the air conditioning units was bothersome too. Great potential but marred by service issues.

It saved us the hassle of having wrinkled clothes while exploring Miami. the air conditioning in our room worked effectively, keeping us comfortable throughout the day and night. One thing we wished the room had was tea and coffee facilities. It would have been nice to enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the mornings without having to leave the room. a mini, bar would have been a nice addition for those who enjoy having drinks or snacks readily available. The rollaway beds were not provided in our room, and we would have appreciated having that option for added comfort. the in, room safe was a great feature for storing our valuables securely. Although the free Wi, Fi in the rooms was convenient for staying connected, we did experience some interruptions in the connection at times. The hair dryer and free toiletries provided in the bathroom were convenient amenities, but we found the bath/shower area to be a bit small and in need of some renovation. The television in the room was functional, but some channels were not working properly, which was a bit disappointing. We also wished there was an AM/FM alarm clock provided for better timekeeping during our stay. we found the room service to be prompt and efficient, and the option for dry cleaning services was convenient. The availability of bicycle hire was a nice touch for exploring the area, and the bell staff/porter were helpful and friendly. the valet parking was quite expensive, and we were surprised by the additional charges added to our bill without proper prior notification. This lack of transparency regarding pricing was a downside to an otherwise pleasant stay at Riu Plaza.

The room was clean and spacious, providing ample room to move around. The architecture, both inside and out, impressed me with its modern design. the mattress was deeply sagged on one side, creating an uncomfortable sleeping experience that left me tossing and turning. The pillows were too thin for side sleepers, adding to the discomfort. Temperature control was adequate, maintaining a pleasant environment. Despite the peaceful ambiance, noise from nearby guests disrupted sleep. Everything needed was available, but a few upgrades in bedding quality would enhance overall comfort significantly.

Location is prime. Bustling area, convenient bus stops, and a lovely beachfront. The pool is pleasant, and the breakfast quality is sufficient. Customer service varied significantly. Luisana at the reception was exceptional, addressing several issues deftly. rudeness from some staff was frustrating. The room? Disappointing. Outdated, dirty, and lacking basic amenities like a safe. Throughout our stay, I encountered unresponsive service and unsatisfactory cleanliness. The evening restaurant experience fell short, forcing us to seek options at a neighboring hotel. Charging top dollar for such conditions feels unjustifiable. It’s a place with potential, but substantial improvements are necessary to meet expectations and ensure a comfortable experience.

The pool area and beachfront location were fantastic. It was a short walk along the boardwalk to the lively South Beach, and the bus stop outside made transportation easy. We especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet and appreciated the helpful service from Tony, who arranged our taxi promptly.
The elevators were frequently out of service, causing inconvenience on higher floors.

The restaurants in the Art Deco district are the ultimate in glam, and the nightclubs on Washington Avenue are always lively. The hotel offers top-notch dining and a relaxing poolside snack bar.
I had the pleasure of waiting ages for the elevator every single time.

The kids had fun learning golf with us amidst the lush greenery and clear blue skies. It was a memorable family experience!
My wife says that a kids' play area would enhance the family-friendly vibe.

We hit up some sick golf and tennis spots nearby. The scuba diving and snorkeling were straight fire, like we felt like we're in a movie or something!
Yo, it would be dope if they had a rad rooftop bar or club for us party animals to turn up till dawn.

I chose Riu Plaza Miami Beach solely to visit Collins Avenue Shopping Area, but I was pleasantly surprised by the beach chair and umbrella service on the beach. The lobby bar and pool bar offering take out service were great, and the fried food options were delightful.
Challenges with using my generic bank card.

The lobby ambience and location were nice.
The bathroom had hairs and the room was dirty. Staff service was lacking and overlooked me.

Celebrated our 10 yr anniversary as a business traveler guest and had a fantastic time at this hotel. The staff, especially Dario, Tina, and Luis, were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the pool was refreshing. The hotel amenities, like the fitness center and jacuzzi, were top-notch. The location was convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby and a Starbucks within walking distance.
The room fell short of expectations for the price paid, and the view didn't justify the high cost. Additionally, housekeeping didn't clean the room or provide clean towels during our stay, and they even discouraged guests from taking towels from the housekeeping cart.
